The site plan gives a good overview of the layout of the gardens and the villa, and the location of the various rooms. The laundry is in use by the staff; the studio is a not rented out (and not used during your stay by others).
The Design - privacy, views, Bali ea
The Mango Trees is designed to create maximum privacy, and optimise light, space and air - and to enjoy the great views of the Bali Sea and the sea breese. The secluded garden with a lotus pond and 3 old mango trees has a quite and relaxing atmosphere.
Maximum use is made of local natural materials - the doors (open design), the kitchen and the furniture are produced locally by carpenter Gede and his people from teak wood from Java. Alang-alang (Balinese grass is used as roofing material, bangkirai wood and paras stone around the pool.
